What makes Costa Rica the Rich Land?
Costa Rica has a combination of factors:
* An abundance of ecolodges where one can find potable water, good food, and comfortable rooms.
* More conservation, with natural areas containing a few trails to explore.
* Tropical rainforest, cloud forest, dry forest, mangroves, páramo. It contains Caño Negro. It’s the third-largest wetland in the world: such a variety of climates and altitudes. Very mountainous. Great variety of ecosystems.
* Crossroads for migrating birds from North and South America; more species in less space than one can believe.
Why are so many species found in COSTA RICA?
* Great variety of Ecosystems in Compact Space
* Many Species spill over into or Migrate through the country
* Large protected areas despite clearing of so much land
