Feed Me! We are teenage mangrove swallows, always hungry. Why are we so hungry? You humans have years to grow up. We are born and become adults in a few months. Even when we learn how to fly, we cannot fly well enough to catch insects. We open our mouths as wide as we can and call our parents to feed us. Have you any idea how many little insects our parents have to catch on the wing to feed all of us. We really keep them busy. Will we get enough food to grow up and catch our own insects? – We Three Young Swallows
To all those who are hungry to learn how to live both morally and spiritually. To all my students who were hungry for knowledge and contributed to our stories in class, stimulating me to develop stories. To all my teachers, friends, and colleagues who helped me along the way in Hiram College, Indiana University, Davis and Elkins College, Warren Wilson College, and Saint Andrew’s School. To Elena Giudice, who helped feed me when I could not get out in 2020.
A todos que tienen hambre para aprender como vivir.
