What Is A Tamandua? ME! is a story of an anteater in Costa Rica.

What is a Tamandua: My story as told to my friend introduces children to the balance of nature and the importance of preserving wildlife.

Are Costa Ricans interested in their wildlife?

Another guide, Andy, spotted my first tamandua.  I lifted my camera and photographed until it disappeared.  When I lowered the camera, I saw a crowd of people surrounding me, watching the tamandua, looking through binoculars or cameras.  Cars were parked all along the road.  Costa Ricans like their animals.   – Carol Creager
